Spectacular gala for Be Brave and Believe, Friday night! There was a beautiful spirit of love and joy! Congratulations to Christine and all responsible for a successful fundraising event. Brigham Phillips led a killer band and all the vocalists did a great job! Briar Boake was fabulous in making sure everything went smoothly. Eddie And Sharon were great MCs. I was so proud to take part!

If there is one person who has taught me how to have hope when the going gets rough, it is Christine Glen-Coussee. Through her trials with cancer, she is now giving hope to others through her words of encouragement and financial assistance from the charity she has co-founded with Lorraine Currie: Be Brave and Believe; a not-for-profit organization committed to supporting families fighting cancer. Great gig with Ben Jokela at Manhattans in Guelph! Ben played the Steinway beautifully. Wonderful staff, delicious food and a great room to listen to some fine music.
What a fantastic gala for the Drummond House Fundraiser at the Canadian Warplane Museum with Kathleen Eyman, Anthony Terpstra and the Starlight Orchestra!! Great time! What a band!! 
This Friday, June 5th, I am very excited to perform with Kathleen Eyman, Anthony Terpstra and the Starlight Orchestra for this fabulous fundraiser by Eagle’s Nest in support of the Drummond House; a transitional home for women and children in times of crisis. A Big shout out to Deborah Daniels and all who took part in #wima2015 on Saturday May 23. Beautiful and talented women showcasing poetry, music and art while raising funds and bringing awareness to domestic violence. Thank you to the fantastic speakers; Anne Decter from the YWCA who informed us about all the different organizations that are in place to help, and what we can do to bring upon change ; and Reesee from Abuse:Survival Stories. who openly shared her story of domestic violence in an effort to give hope to others. I was honored to have been a part of it.
On Saturday May 16 from 7:30 to 10:30, I will be performing at the Home Smith Bar at the Old Mill Toronto. Joining me will be Anthony Panacci on piano, Mark Kelso on drums, Paul Novotny on bass and Drew Jurecka on violin. My daughter Natalie will also sing a few songs with me! They do not take reservations so please come out early for choice seating. There is no cover charge to patrons, but there is a minimum per person food/beverage expenditure of $20 required. Enjoy some jazz and delicious food! I look forward to seeing you!
